Sharon might watch too much HGTV.  Our house is only 6 year old and was new construction.  She really wanted to update the kitchen with a no demo reno,  She always said we had fireplace tile as our backsplash.  Here is the before and after comparisons.

They didn’t order enough fireplace tile and it is now on backorder so I will add the fireplace upgrade once it is completed.
